Lavender has a sweet, floral taste, with a citrus undertone and a rich fragrance. Try using the spikes and leaves in place of rosemary. The flavor can be infused in milk or cream for crème brulee and ice cream, or make a simple lavender sugar by whirling course sugar in the food processer for a few pulses with dried lavender.
