All venison is under 30 months of age at harvest and pasture to plate quality. New Zealand venison never has that wild taste so characteristic of game, but rather it’s a subtle delicate flavor, superb tenderness and excellent nutritional qualities: low in fat and cholesterol, but rich in iron and protein.
